Alright...simple alcohol recipe. Actually, it's not a recipe at all, but it's better than any "recipe" I know!

Take a cocktail glass, and fill with ice. Pour Dewar's 12 year Special Reserve Scotch into said glass. Sit down, and sip. Be carefull when you get up. It's been known to hit me all at once! :)

Something to keep you warm.
1 Shot Godiva liquor
1 shot Pepperment Schnapps
1 Shot Starbucks cream liquor
HOT coffee to fill cup. Tastes just like a Thin Mint Girl Scout cookie!
Feel free to add more or less of something else to taste.

Mmmmm... both of those sound quite tasty.

jknepfle...have you ever tried Glenkinchie 10-year? We like it very much indeed! We're also rather fond of the Glenfiddich 12-year.

I never thought I'd be a scotch drinker, but it is part of my heritage after all!

Disneyduet ... I think I'd want to try that with brandy instead of the peppermint schnapps. But it still sounds pretty darn good right now with the outdoor temperature at a balmy 12 degrees.

Love the Glenfiddich! Got some on our disney cruise a year and half ago REALLY cheap. Good stuff! My wife got me some Highland Park single malt for Christmas, and that was also VERY tasty!

Good to know we can buy some good whisky cheap on our cruise next year. At this rate we'll need an extra suitcase just for booze!

And we got to try the Highland Park somewhere recently ... it was definitely good stuff!

Bottle of Cold Bailey's Irish Cream
Open
drink...from bottle...no glass...

it's good stuff!!!

JUST KIDDING...I would NEVER do that...I always use a large Guinness glass full of ice to drink a bottle of Bailey's!!!

Thank you for including me as a "notable quotable". I'm sorry I don't have any booze recipes. I might have to snag something from Sandra Lee's archives.

Here's one. "Life's too short not to be drinking a sissy drink from the Polynesian Resort."

I put that as my signature, along with the pic of me with the umbrella drink, on my profile at DisFriends.com. :)

Hi Brenda!

Excellent review - what a perfect meal to go along with the Oscars!

Lori, some day Jay and I are just going to drink around the monorail and our first stop is going to be the Poly - I want to try a Lapu Lapu ... is that the right name?

Hey there PPZ! Glad you liked the cheeses even if we didn't have a lot of variety. I've already got my Fromager warming up so that I can gorge some more tonight!
